P6 enjoyed learning about some of the amazing things that women have achieved. As well as celebrating brilliant women, International Women’s Day is also used as a day to highlight and raise awareness about issues that women have faced in the past and still face today. It is an important day to focus on the many inequalities, gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping that exists in society! Great information for our young people!
